No job, no money, no friends...Adrian Sims is all alone in San Francisco and the YWCA is her only home. While living at the Y, she meets Amy Miller. They become friends, then lovers and partners. Adrian's temporary job as a photographer's model threatens her future when she finds a permanent job in her chosen profession as a librarian.
