Retribution of the Harvest

John Lane, a New York Detective, is haunted by the demons from his past (A troubled childhood) and the evils on the crime riddled streets of Brooklyn. He seeks relief for his torment by hurting his wife Shelby Lane, who does not hold herself in high esteem. As a child, John Lane suffered at the hands of his father, a New York cop, who was a drunk, a wife beater, and his mother, a lazy drunk, who neglected him; both of which had died when John was only fourteen. Left to his own survival, John looked to the streets, and other wayward friends for comfort. During the robbery attempt of an apartment, which belonged to Police Captain Callahan, John's Blood Brother, Frank is shot by Callahan and dies. The events, which took place on that day, changed John's life forever. Callahan becomes a foster parent to John, and tries to do good by him based on the cops motto," We take care of our own." John married Shelby, and graduated from the police academy. Life was wonderful for a while, until his past caught up with him, triggered by the evils which he witnessed via his job. In the end, triggered by a re-ocurring epic dream, set in the high mountains of an ancient time, a great battle between Bane (Represents evil) and Seraph (Represents good) and the Warrior Angel ( Seraphs First General) as well as John's father, whose soul was left to wonder the earth, John made the choice to change his life for the better. He turned to the scriptures for guidance, and gained the strength he needed to fight the evils which were with in him. Shelby, with the same guidance, gained self-confidence, and courage to follow her dreams.
