Meet Meara Cassidy-bartender extraordinaire, occasional karaoke queen. For fourteen years, she's made good work of forgetting the pain of her parents' deaths...and of pretending angels don't exist. Meara's motto: normal is everything. Her goal: self-preservation. But fate's got plans for Meara that don't include ordinary.It's bad enough that her new crush turns out to be the offspring of a fallen angel, and that she's recently discovered she possesses the key to Heaven. With the nephilim equivalent of the Three Musketeers aiding her, Meara must fight off a multitude of hell-spawn, locate a lost angel, and defy the laws of physics in order to restore Heaven's key back to its rightful owners. And along the way, she'll have to come to terms with the fact that not only is her destiny inescapable, it's about as far removed from normal as Heaven is from Hell.
