RING OF TROUBLE

"Ring of Trouble" is a delightfully illustrated, magical tale of courage, determination, and cleverness. Maribel is a prideful girl whose boastfulness of her beautiful amethyst ring leads to a great deal of trouble. When the evil Dorka tricks Maribel into losing her prized ring, she's turned into a bird and left alone, afraid, and unable to speak. She's soon captured for a bird show, saves a kind soldier, and uses clever thinking that changes everything. Along the way, she learns that being herself is far more important than showing off any of her fine possessions. Will Maribel find a way to reclaim her ring and her true self?

Ann Williams is a successful voice over performer and commercial actor. She has written and recorded children's poems for Pandy Records and has narrated numerous books and a phonic series for Scholastic, Inc. She is a Speech and Drama graduate of Barry University and studied at the Institute for Children's Literature. A former teacher at the elementary level, she enjoyed using dramatics to stir the imagination of children. Her writings highlight making good choices and solving problems.
