The River

When Diana Newport nearly drowns, she discovers a whole different world, Zigeth, and has the chance to mend things with her dead sister. But when she returns to life, she quickly realizes that something is not right. In fact, Levi Harland, another who has also newly returned from death, has brought back the spirit of an executed serial killer, Ronald Truman, a spirit who can hitchhike from body to body.
