The Sabian Way

In a foundational sense The Sabian Way is a primer, a briefing paper on the Sabian Assembly and its founder Dr. Marc Edmund Jones. Beginning with a short biography and a history of the Assembly to the turn of the 21st Century, the work represents the author's attempt to encapsulate in a condensed manner the Sabian vision in contemporary occultism with emphasis on space and time and order and change, for example, and presents a practical, constructive and modern view of the occult in healing, spirituality, immortality and reality. The Assembly is dedicated to the increasing mastery of self and the world. Its goal "is to help the individual to climb to the top of even the most difficult mountain of understanding."* This volume is dedicated to that effort.

Jonas Mather is a retired newspaper and magazine writer and editor, a 40+ year member of the Sabian Assembly and a grandfather who writes poetry but seldom publishes. He has devoted a goodly portion of this retirement years, 15 so far, to a study of the activities and writings of Dr. Marc Edmund Jones and Dynamic Idealism, the philosophical label for the basics of Jones' thinking and the core of Sabian teaching and practice.
