Savior

Family circumstances force Joshua, a nine-year old Jewish boy from Brooklyn to embark on a preposterous, often hilarious, journey half way around the world. What happens to him and his twelve, adult traveling companions, as they find themselves immersed in a political crises in Israel, drives the plot toward its inevitable yet unpredictable, shocking conclusion. Key figures are Joshua's mother, his grandfather Solomon Terchin (Grumper), Grumper's woman friend, Mrs. Rosie, the strange, eclectic travel group in which she's a key figure, and Israel's prime minister, Solomon Steckler.
