Savoring God

Life is more than survival. It is full, it is abundant, it is joy, it is God. So I was caught by surprise the first time someone referred to me as a survivor. My season of breast cancer did not change my outlook on life, it only enhanced it. I am not a survivor-I am a "savorer."Savoring God is not a cancer memoir. There are enough of those in the bookstores, libraries, and in gift bags given to newly diagnosed cancer patients. Eternal life is just that, eternal. Forever. Really, really long. But life on earth is short-with or without cancer.
