Civilization's Eurasian root is re-created, as Clements builds from her previous book that called for a search in the north for that root. There is sufficient evidence for a northern culture that was sophisticated in science, philosophy and metaphysics, and compatible with cutting-edge science. The old texts are interpreted literally and naturalistically as our history. Even strange-sounding accounts are compatible. They are not myth or poetry, but return humans to a cosmic view, and integrate the remains of the past into a contemporary meaning.
