Cross Purposes is a philosophical project. A science fiction novel examining cosmological and theological questions Cross Purposes is Patrick Voevoda's narrative of worlds and societies in change and catastrophe. Like Bishop Berkley's dialogues on ideaism 'Cross Purposes' seeks to consider the nature of reality-apparent and ideal, actual and existential. The narrative of a Martian professor of philosophy presents epistemology, war and social transformations rising amidst usual chaos and confusion.
