A real-life class action lawsuit between Ecuadorians from the Amazon jungle and Chevron Corporation form the premise for a completely fictional murder mystery...Judge Adam Martin doesn't return home from his regular Sunday morning walk in the park. Everyone assumes that it is related to his latest case, a class action lawsuit between Ecuadorians from the Amazon and one of the largest corporations in the world, The Texas Oil Company. Thomas Steen, a tree-hugging environmental researcher, known nation-wide as the 'Green PI', has released his expert report that calls on the Texas Oil Company to spend billions of dollars on clean up in the jungles of Ecuador. Needless to say, the slimy executives at the Oil Company are not pleased. After the judge's murder and a threatening phone call, Thomas Steen seeking protection, spends more time with the beautiful detective on the case, Natasha Logan. As the investigation progresses, so does the danger for the unlikely duo. The body count grows, the judge's wife's affair is discovered and one of the Oil company executives threatens to roll over on the other. Little do they know, that the next step in their investigation may be their last.
