Reverend Henry Irwin (1859-1902) was a pioneer missionary and Anglican priest in British Columbia, Canada. Born in Ireland, he studied at Keble College and found his first curacy under the Rev. John Murray, Rector of Rugby. He was ordained Priest in 1884, and the urgent call to mission work came to him. He travelled to British Columbia in 1885 where he began work in Kamloops on the Canadian Pacific Railway. Affectionately called "Father Pat," he was also well known throughout the Rossland mining camps.
