Cyndi Peterson was a successful physician, wife and mother who had everything she ever dreamed of—yet true peace continued to elude her. Cyndi Peterson is an accomplished physician, speaker, and mother of five. A Mohs-licensed dermatologist, she served for nine years in the U.S. Navy as a flight surgeon and entered into private practice years later after a fellowship in specialized micrographic surgery. She stopped practicing dermatologic surgery in 2001 after discovering her only daughter had months to live. Since losing her two daughters to Spinal Muscular Atrophy, Cyndi has become a renowned speaker on issues of Medjugorje, life, and the family, and has testified in Washington State against embryonic stem cell research.
