John Nash Junior (JJ) lives with his father on the Pacific Ocean in a small town called Carpentaria, California, 75 north of Los Angeles. He was crippled in a car accident that broke his back and left him in a wheel chair. He is unable to talk except through a computer. He is with his constant companion, a dog named Puck. He is 13 and an IQ 151. His dreams are clouded with strange images. Something out in space is searching for something and somehow they are searching for him. They are the Mio, a Tele-pathic space faring species and they are headed for Earth. Something else is coming to Earth, some-thing dark and dangerous and a eater of suns. Join JJ, Puck and his new friends as they join together to help save the Earth of the oncoming blackness.
