Melinda A. Quivik is Associate Professor of Christian Assembly at Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia, teaching both liturgy and homiletics. She holds a Ph.D. in Worship, Proclamation, and the Arts from the Graduate Theological Union, Berkeley. She is the author of A Christian Funeral: Witness to the Resurrection (2005) and a contributor to New Proclamation, Sundays and Seasons, and other publications.
