A leading commentator on Irish affairs in the media, she has contributed to almost every national newspaper in the Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom, as well frequently appearing on radio and television. Her last work of non-fiction, Aftermath: The Omagh Bombing and the Families’ Pursuit of Justice, won the Crime Writers’ Association Gold Dagger for Non-Fiction in 2010. Ruth was born in Dublin and now lives in London.
