The Shade

Joe Sanders, a small town Florida chiropractor, is racing against time to save his son, Jules, from a powerful and malicious spirit known as a "shade." Jules is somehow joined to the shade by a rare genetic sexual disorder, and will die on his eighteenth birthday unless Joe can determine the shade's identity. Joe enlists the help of a blind "spirit catcher," Abe Butters, who can lead Joe to the very gates of hell if necessary in pursuit of the spirit's origins. Ride with Joe and Abe through a twist of fate, space and time as they battle the spirit for possession of his son.
