The Shadow in the River

One June night, in a small towngripped by a sweltering heat wave, a young man is forcedoff the road and into the river. Robert Bell, adisillusioned local journalist with a dry sense of humourand an escalating drink problem, leaves behind thebanality of his quiet office to investigate themysterious death.
