Ken Bloom is a noted author, producer, director, documentarian, and record producer. His book, Broadway Musicals: The 101 Greatest Shows of All Time is an award-winning classic. His book Broadway: An Encyclopedia, was named a Reference Book of the Year by the New York Times and won a Choice Magazine Award. He has directed and produced shows at Town Hall, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, and other venues. He received a Grammy Nomination for his album, Maxine Sullivan Sings Great Songs of the Cotton Club which was released on his label, Harbinger Records, which is celebrating its 30th Anniversary.
