K.D. Finnegan's love for reading and writing poetry has led her to writing her first debut children's book "Silly Me". She began attending a poetry writing workshop in 2022 and is currently working on her first poetry book Temple of Peace: Poetry & Prose. Her personal career started with studies in early childhood education and later she obtained a bachelor's degree in human services.
