Sire of Kings

From the time he is a boy, Childeric, son and grandson of great Frankish chieftains, struggles with a weakness for women that eventually causes his exile from the Franks. Soon, however, he meets a woman who is his match and together they return to the people who cast him out. Along the way, Rome, which has been an enemy of the Franks, becomes an ally so the Franks might join in the great battle with Attila the Hun. Later, a challenge from the Visigoths will test Childeric even more.
