Skin for Skin

Fed up with corporate America, attorney Karen Baker packs up her young daughter Lisa and abandons Los Angeles for small-town Oregon. Her hopes for a simpler life are destroyed, however, when Lisa is raped and murdered. Overwhelmed with grief and guilt, Karen immerses herself in her work until her obsession with prosecuting a notorious pedophile goes too far. Her ensuing quest for redemption ultimately leads her to reexamine her faith in herself and in God. Skin For Skin is a moving chronicle of one woman's journey through grief to healing. Though tragic in subject, it is a surprisingly uplifting tale of hope and renewed faith in the face of despair.
