Several of the protagonists and antagonists grow up in Scotland and England. The first five volumes will go into their early years and the events which shape their destinies.The characters and stories in this novel take place on the Isle of Skye in the Inner Hebrides. I try to weave my characters and their fictional lives with real historic characters and sites. Highland, Gaelic, and Celtic customs are used throughout the novel as they occur during the years. I used the terrain as much as possible to set the various scenes in the story. Each part of the island plays into the evolving stories.
