Violet Lemay is an award-winning author and illustrator whose children’s books include My Foodie ABC and the Local Baby series that includes New York Baby, Chicago Baby, Beach Babies and San Francisco Baby. Before moving to New York State, Violet worked as Professor of Illustrator at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Georgia. Violet’s illustrations have been published by Penguin, Holt, Harper Collins, McGraw Hill, Scholastic, and Highlights. Violet currently lives in Saratoga Springs, New York.
