Special Education and School Reform in the United States and Britain

The political climate of recent years in Britain and the United States led to many changes, many along similar lines, placing greater power and choice in the hands of individuals with special education needs. The contributors in this book compare how special education policy and practice is being negotiated within the context of educational reform in two countries.
