This is the final entry in the middle grade series kicked off by the acclaimed Spider-Man’s Social Dilemma, chronicling teenager Peter Parker's first adventures as Spider-Man.

It seems like things are maybe getting back to normal in teenage Peter Parker's life? You know, except for the fact that he's secretly Spider-Man, and that his girlfiend Mary Jane wants to get involved in helping save New York, which makes Peter very nervous. He's not always so good at protecting himself—how can he protect her too?
It's a problem made worse by what at first seems like practical jokes on Spider-Man—holograms playing embarrassing tricks on him that soon escalate dangerously. Throw in super-powerful, super-creepy businessman Norman Osborne and a mysterious alien menace that's been plaguing our hero for months, and everyone's favorite neighborhood Spider-Man is pretty quickly at a breaking point.
