They also defrauded the people they were to intercede for in the Old Testament. Later, Jesus manifested as the divine sacrificial Lamb, who died on the cross to atone for sin and intercede for our redemption and restoration. He also directed all His believers, not just a select few, to plead for His mercy for others' restoration. God empowers every believer with the Holy Spirit for His service in the Kingdom.
