Robin Furth was born and raised in Philadelphia, and attended the University of Pennsylvania. While enrolled in the Ph.D. program at the University of Maine, she was introduced to Stephen King, who needed a research assistant. She has been working with King for more than three years and lives in Surry, Maine.
