This story depicts a man's journey through a frothy, fast-paced environment, energized by competition and self-interests---Wall Street. Bill Haydon is stockbroker and workaholic. He enjoys an enviable reputation of helping investors across the country create wealth. His personal aspiration is to achieve a lifestyle of extraordinary comfort. Unfortunately, his vision becomes skewed by material distractions and the greed that is often associated with money. Haydon gets involved in an unexpected romance that lasts for several months before his life is put on hold. He is sentenced to prison and an opportunity to reclaim his life.
