Successful Teaching Practice in the Lifelong Learning Sector

This is an essential guide for all trainee teachers in the Lifelong Learning Sector, who must succeed at their teaching practice to gain QTLS status. It is aimed at both in-service and pre-service trainees, helping them successfully prepare for excel at their initial teaching experience. Jane Wood is Course leader for Professional Development in Post-Compulsory Education and Training at Edge Hill University. She has 20 years' experience of teaching vocational courses in Further Education colleges. John Dickinson is Senior Lecturer and original member of the Post-compulsory Education and Training team at Edge Hill University. He has been involved in teacher training for Further Education staff since 1990. John Bostock is a Senior Lecturer in PCET, Course Leader (PDP), Co-ordinator of mentoring in PCET, Research Nurture Group Convenor, Fellow of the Institute for Learning (IfL) and an Institutional Learning and Teaching Fellow at Edge Hill University.
