Sally Flynn engaged her three duaghters in rounds of elaborate games and felt great maternal joy at their smallest accomplishments. It wasn't long, however, before her fun-loving side became slowly absorbed by madness. Whether it was accusing Laura's father of aligning with Satan, or buying only certain 'evil-free' products, glimmers of her mother's future paranoia gre brighter as Laura's early years passed. As her father foughts to gain custidy of the children, the three sisters united in flights of fancy to avoid the trauma. This is an intimate portrait of a turbulent childhood.
