Carole Fabricant is Professor of English at the University of California, Riverside. She is the author of Swift's Landscape and numerous articles on Swift and other eighteenth-century writers and topics. She has lectured on both sides of the Atlantic and has been a participant in an ongoing NEH summer seminar on "Anglo-Irish Identities, 1660-1800," held at the Keough-Naughton Institute for Irish Studies at the University of Notre Dame Robert Mahony is the author of Jonathan Swift: The Irish Identity and numerous articles on Swift. He was the founding Director of Irish Studies at the Catholic University of America, where he retired as Professor of English.
