Synoptic-Dynamic Meteorology in Midlatitudes Volume I: Principles of Kinematics and Dynamics

This new, comprehensive textbook for upper-division undergraduate and graduate students of meteorology presents for the first time information that is now considered essential in modern weather forecasting.
