The Tale of Nick the Chick and Chuck the Duck

Nick the Chick and Chuck the Duck, are good friends. When one gets into trouble, the other enlists the help of their farm friends to help save the day. Once the other goes missing, the friends rally to find and help him. Another animal, so different from the others, is discovered and survival instincts kick in. A story of friendship, helping one another and inclusivity.

Ellen Smith, a wife, mother, and grandmother, of Ancaster, Ontario, is a retired early childhood educator and educational assistant. She has always loved reading to and with children. This is her first book.Natalie Mike is a British-born illustrator and graphic designer, living in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. She is always busy with two young boys, her husband Brad and dog named Benny. She is super creative and brought life to all the lovable characters in this story.
