Mark Stallard is an accomplished author and noted sports historian. His works have specialized in not only football but also baseball and basketball. He has also written for several magazines and worked as a sportswriter for the Wichita Eagle, and he is a member of the Football Writers Association of America. Isaac “Bud” Stallworth graduated from the University of Kansas in 1972. After being drafted by the Seattle SuperSonics, Stallworth continued to play professional basketball until 1977, when a back injury forced him to retire. He lives in Hartselle, Alabama
