Talking Up: Young Women's Take on Feminism

Talking Up takes up the challenges of contemporary politics. Twenty-something women talk about living their feminism. What they do, how they do it and why they choose to do it as feminists. These young women are neither dispassionate nor indifferent about feminism, they hold strong and diverse views about their roles in society. They are getting on with the business of feminism and challenging the meaning of identifying publicly as a feminist. These are women with a social conscience, committed to the 'personal is political' catch cry of the 70s, yet not held down by any set-in-stone political dogma.
