The Technological State in Indonesia: The Co-constitution of High Technology and Authoritarian Politics

Using a historical sociology approach, this book presents a critical account of the history of high technology development in Indonesia during the New Order authoritarianism centered on the aerospace industry in Bandung. Amir explores the interplay between power, hi-tech ideology, and authoritarian politics situated in the Southeast Asian context.
