The Temple of God Restored

David desperately wanted the presence of God available to him, to be in His presence and so he set up a tent on Mt Zion, placed within it the Ark of Covenant and worshiped before the Lord as he did in the hills as a shepherd . Solomon built a Temple to the Lord and placed the Ark behind the veil. At the time of Jesus' death on the cross, the veil was ripped open. God did it to reveal Himself, so He would be available to His people. Now He has made us to be the Temple as He dwells in us. The shadow has passed away, now we have the reality (John 14.23).Do you know that you are the Temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in You?(1Corinthians 3.16)
