This book will be dealing with the Greek text of the New Testament. Textual criticism is the study of a group of manuscripts, especially of the Bible or works of literature, in order to determine which reading is the original. Many, who have never covered this area before, do not realize that textual studies have to be considered before all other areas of biblical studies. How can a translation of the text begin, before establishing the text as the original? How can the interpretation of the text begin, before establishing the text as the original?I approach this book, by assuming that every reader has no knowledge of the subject matter of textual studies. In other words, I will be defining and explaining many things. Most churchgoers and laypersons, in all likelihood have never read a book on textual criticism. This does not mean I will not address the deeper things, because I will, just on a popular level.
