Themes in Hume The Self, the Will, Religion

Terence Penelhum has since the 1950s been a leading contributor to studies of the thought of David Hume; he now presents a selection of the best of his essays on Hume, most of them quite recent, three of them previously unpublished. The central themes of the book are selfhood, the will, andreligious belief.
