Mr. MATOTT found his ear for rhyme as a fourth grader while writing on the blackboard after school so often. One time his teacher, the mean Sister Jean Claire, returned to the room to find he had written 100 times: I will not tease the fourth grade girls, I will not pull their fourth grade curls, I will not be a bad, bad kid, and I am sorry for what I did! A week later Mr. Matott's science fair project (beans in Dixie cups at different lighting intervals) won first prize.
