Wild tigers once roamed through a large part of Asia. Today, however, wild tigers can only be found in some of the continent's forests and mountains. Destruction of their natural habitat, over-hunting, and other human actions have seriously decreased the wild tiger population. These big cats may soon disappear from the world forever.
