"Toe Tags & TNT by Rolland Love is not a book for the faint hearted. It is a strong, gutsy vivid rollicking tale about two young men and their adventures driving across America. The characters are well portrayed and one can almost smell the gun smoke and begin to sweat when the unwelcome hitch-hiker Harley climbs on board their camper van. The reader is propelled along witnessing one Harley happening after another, and sharing the sighs of relief when the narrator lives to see another day! The dominant character is of course the weird, manic Harley, but the introduction of Long Dog, a bitser dog nearly steals the limelight! It is not until nearly half way through this rollicking adventure that the reader understands the title of the book through a hilarious lunch in a hospital morgue! But you'll need to read the book to discover the reason. It is only in the last chapter, that all them loose ends are tied up neatly and skillfully by Love. I recommend this book as a bold, gutsy read for mature readers who don't mind violence, blood and rough language which is necessary to portray the characters portrayed so expertly in this book."
