Tragic Children of Melancholy Manor

The sad truth is that there are children in this world who will suffer. Of those stricken by the worst experiences, whose trauma warped their mind and shattered their soul, there is the chance that an otherworldly power may manifest. To some, the newly found strength can be a tool to help them recover. Others may believe the uncontrollable energy is a curse that hurts those closest to them. The more malicious-minded might see a weapon. Whatever the intention, such powers are dangerous, especially in the hands of a deeply damaged individual. To avoid disaster, these children are taken to a school specifically intended to nurture the Tragedies they have become.
For the most recent children to arrive at Allison Manor, their enrollment may not be happenstance. Secretive forces appear to have other intentions meant for them. Their recovery will be put at risk because of the motivations of others. How they are affected and who they choose to be in the end could change everything, for better or worse.
