Transference and Countertransference

The book contributes to the psychoanalytic literature on transference and countertransference; each chapter addresses a particular aspect of working with these basic elements from the point of view of different theoretical orientations, and discusses these both in relation to the literature and the individual author's own ideas. The second aim is to introduce the British Psychoanalytic Association, a new Society of the International Psychoanalytical Association and the second IPA Society to be established in Britain.
