Treasure at Turtle Lake

Three strange symbols--rough drawings on a map of Turtle Lake--could lead to buried treasure. But what do the drawings mean? On the way to live with his dad in Turtle Narrows, twelve-year-old Joel Osler meets a man who shows him the map with its three clues. When he sees the man again in Turtle Narrows, asking questions about the map, Joel knows he's onto something. Joel shows his new friend Paige the drawings he remembers from the map, and the two team up to match wits against the man. Will they discover the meaning of the three clues before he can? When the man traps the teens in a shed on the wharf, the quest becomes more than a race against time.
