Tsunami

Tsunami's have killed so many in just 2 horrifying events yet are not understood by scientists who use distraction and simple parlor tricks to prevent the public from realizing they have no idea how energy gets from earth quakes far below the ocean floor to distant shores. They are much more than just big bulges that spread outward, morphing into multiple waves capable of killing hundreds of thousands. Scientists reject any alternative theories and prefer the "Fat Guy in the Bath Tub Theory" and this does not fit observations of Tsunami. Using well known and understood principles of physics, oceanography, and underwater sound propagation - I propose that energy from earth quakes get focused into the Deep Sound Channel (after bouncing off the ocean surface), like a giant wave guide. Just like Deep Sound Channel captures the mournful sounds of whales and allows it to be heard across the sea, the kinetic energy of earth quake (P waves) from massive undersea quakes gets focused into and trapped in the Deep Sound Channel. This creates waves that are too deep to detect from the surface.The coast of Oregon and Washington are not any different or protected than were the coastlines of Japan or Sumatra; in a major earth quake coastal population centers may have only minutes before they are hit by succeeding waves of 20 to 100 foot Tsunami. We just don't know where or when.
