Tutu’s Pearls

Tutu means grandparent in the Hawaiian language.

As a collection of thoughts and whimsical artwork, "Tutu's Pearls" reflects the truly important concepts of a life well lived. It contains the "pearls of wisdom" that the authors have learned in their 50 years of friendship.

"Tutu's Pearls," the first book in our Kupuna series, may bring peace and comfort within its pages. Kupuna in the Hawaiian language refers to our elders, (it is literally translated as "Ku," meaning "My," and "Puna," meaning "Source"). We hope that your experience with this book makes you feel like you just had a big hug.

Janet lives in a cabin in the woods in Washington State. She loves painting, gardening and spending time with her dog, Whisky and all her woodland friends.

Linda lives in Hawaii where she can see both the mountains and the ocean. She loves snorkeling, dancing hula and spending time with both her woodland and ocean friends.

This book is the creation of two Tutu's who have been friends for over 50 years. It is the "pearls of wisdom" we learned through experience on this magical adventure we call life.
Janet created all of the original artwork for this book. During the winter months, when Janet isn't in the garden, she spends her time creating paintings that make her laugh.
