This book is aimed at "the rest of us" - those of us who may not have substance addiction. We have heard about the Twelve steps, but have never paid them much attention. It is easy for us to relegate the Twelve Steps to the recovery group meeting in the basement of the church. It is high time that we bring them upstairs to share with the wider congregation!The Twelve Steps are not just for the addict. They are not really about addiction; they are about life. Every one of us has a need to change our lives for the better. No matter how well or badly our lives are going, we can certainly stand a change for the better. The Twelve Steps can help us change our lives.
