Jesus came preaching about the Kingdom of God. He spoke many parables on this subject and declared that the words He spoke were the words the Father told Him to speak. This being the case, it causes us to pay particular attention to the details of these parables and not to just treat them lightly, as if they were of no effect. The parables discussed the entrance requirements into the kingdom of God, the great value of belonging to this kingdom, and even identified various positions assigned to the members of this kingdom. Some specific parables even discussed a specific feast where many people were invited and many others were rejected. At this feast, a wedding feast, we see mentioned the King (or Master) who gave the feast, the King's son (the Bridegroom), the Groomsman (the Best Man), the Bride, a room full of wedding guests and, in addition, men servants and maid servants. All these people were believers in Christ. So one must ask, what is (or are) the deciding criteria which determines to which group one would belong? For one should also note, there are times in heaven when people are upset and are crying (Revelation 7:17; Revelation 21:4). This book discusses these parables and presents the reader with a different way of looking at them - for all these parables must make sense, not just when viewed individually, but also when viewed combined as a complete whole. For to those called to be the Bride of Christ, this is 'The Ultimate Gift'.
